Cross-country
The trail starts at the well-known après-ski haunt, the «Bolgen Plaza», not far from Davos Platz railway station. From here, the trail follows a flat route to the valley station of the «Carjöler» chairlift, which transports winter sports enthusiasts up to the Jakobshorn.
From the valley station, the trail climbs a few meters up to a small hillock above the hamlet of «Hof» from where it then descends to the Brüchweg. The headstream of the Alpine Rhine follows the main valley through the Davos countryside. The Rhaetian Railway also runs the full length of the river – as does the cross-country trail, which now ends in Davos Frauenkirch after a slight descent over about a kilometer.
There is a bus stop right at the side of the cross-country ski trail to conveniently return cross-country skiers to Davos Platz. Fitter skiers might wish to ski back to the starting point.
GETTING TO THE SLOPES
Schatzalp Bahn is 70 meters from the apartment, while Ski Lift Bolgen is 800 meters away.
To get to Parsenn, take the bus in direction Davos Dorf. The bus stops in the front of the building for both directions.
